End of year news!

Please read below for our Term 4 news and updates for 2025.
Term 1, 2025 classes start on Monday February 10*
*NB: February 10 is a public holiday. However as school has started and the Monday groups do miss a few classes during the year due to other public holidays, we hope this will suit our families.
The Nutcracker!
An enormous thank you to each and every Barbara Todd Ballet family for your support of our concert. It was such a wonderful day for all our dancers and I am so very proud of them all. The excitement backstage before each show and the pride and sense of achievement of each dancer as they come off stage is just magic. It is always so very special to see all our students from our littlest dancers through to our seniors working together and helping each other.
It is a big undertaking and requires a lot of commitment from every single family so thank you all so very much for coming together to create such a special experience for your dancer.
Concert Photos and Videos
Thank you to those who have purchased concert photos and videos. These are currently being edited and will be available in the next day or so. If you have purchased, these you will be emailed a link to the email address you provided via Trybooking.
If you did not purchase the video or photos you are still welcome to – the video download is $15 and digital photo package is $25. Just email Tash.
2025 Open Day - Saturday February 1
Our Open Day for 2025 will be on Saturday February 1 in the waiting room of the hall. This is where you can purchase shoes, tights, BTB uniform, second hand uniform, character skirts etc ready for 2025.
I will send out a reminder about this via email to our families in January.
Uniform Update for 2025
We will be transitioning our current navy blue and black uniform to a new uniform in 2025. Details for this are on the Parent Info page of our website and will be emailed to parents in the new year. Pale blue uniform remains the same. Password for the parent information page is BTBWeb23. Dance Junction will stock the new leotards when they re open after their Christmas Break in mid January, 2025.
Students do not have to update to the new uniform until your dancer has grown out of their current uniform so please do not feel any pressure to purchase anything new.
Second Hand Uniform
If you would like to buy or sell second hand uniform please utilise our FB group - just search for Barbara Todd Ballet buy, sell, swap, free and send a request to join the group. When looking at second hand ballet shoes please note that ballet shoe sizes vary from normal shoe sizes and will need to be tried on to be sure that they are a good fit. We will also have a range of second hand uniform including character shoes available at our open day on February 1st.
